During a packaging-plant retrofit, RSLogix5000 V12 paid for itself on the first night shift — three faults that would have stopped the line were caught in the office instead. What worked: force tables prepared before each FAT session, so scenarios could be demonstrated in seconds instead of argued about for hours. One caution from the field: keep the tool and firmware revisions matched to the target controller, or cross-loading a project will silently downgrade instructions.
